I explored how human emotions can be expressed visually. Based on responses from online questionnaires, I translated emotions such as happiness, anxiety, anger, and sadness into geometric forms. These shapes were presented on acrylic panels and arranged as a participatory installation, allowing viewers to select and assemble panels to create visual compositions that reflect their own emotions.

This is the setup before the participants start the activity. I printed the geometric shapes taken from the questionnaire into acrylic panels, and categorized the acrylic boards according to four different emotions: happiness, anxiety, anger, and sadness. However, I did not tell the participants what emotions were in each pile and expected them to explore on their own.
Interaction, Graphic Pattern Extraction
Participants choose their own graphic panels and piece them together to create a visual effect that represents happiness, anxiety, anger, and sadness.
