On a rainy night when my mood was at its lowest, I became absorbed in the rippling water on the ground, formed by countless falling raindrops. I translated this observation by shifting my brushwork from long strokes to small, fragmented marks. These marks accumulate into overlapping ripples that spread across the black surface, capturing both the movement of rain and the quiet intensity of that night.
